History
March 17, 1983. At the age of 17, John Lloyd along with father, Jim Lloyd saw a need in the construction industry for a service that could provide new home clean-ups at a quoted price. As a result, Lloyd’s Construction Services, Inc. was born.
Providing clean-ups around the Metro area, operations began to grow and eventually Jim’s wife, Merry, and Stephanie, John’s wife became involved in office and management duties.
Business continued to thrive, and as a result, Jim and John saw an opportunity to continue to expand in the construction industry. In 1990, the roll-off, selective demolition, and small-scale building demolition divisions were established. With the increased waste volume, in 1992, Lloyd’s opened its transfer station in order to maximize waste management operations. Then, in 2000, Lloyd’s expanded yet again by adding their earthwork division.
