Safety

Our highest priority at Lloyd’s has been and always will be safety. Our globally recognized safety program has received numerous awards over the years due to our outstanding safety awareness on the job. This is achieved through developing a safety culture from the top down, controlling hazards on the job, and going above and beyond what is expected to stay safe. Our most recent notable safety achievement was receiving second place globally at the 2010 World Demolition Awards, presented by KHL Group, for the Demolition Safety award.  With eight finalists in the Demolition Safety category, LCS was in close competition with the category winner, an Italy-based demolition firm.  “We are extremely pleased with the results”, says John Lloyd, Vice-President of LCS. “To be named second best in the world, and first nationwide is a great honor.  I believe it shows a true reflection of the commitment and sincerity each and every employee possesses in regards to our safety program.”

Guest speakers are consistently invited to speak to our employees so they remain up to date with the most recent safety practices. Safety Day, an annual event organized by our Safety Committee, re-trains all employees on equipment, company safety expectations, and much more.

Lloyd’s Construction Services, Inc. places a high emphasis on our safety program for obvious reasons. We find it important to keep our employees, others on the project, and anyone else who comes into contact with our company safe. It is a process that requires much time and effort to maintain, but the benefits are immeasurable. With a MOD factor of .78, our numbers are a testament to the effectiveness of our program.
